The world’s best airlines in 2015

The Skytrax World Airline Awards provide the answer to this question. Coined as “the Oscars of the aviation industry,” the awards provide a global benchmark for air travel excellence. Travellers from around the world take part in the world’s largest passenger satisfaction survey to rank and assess airlines. In total, close to 19 million airline customers were surveyed, and the rankings measure more than 40 key performance indicators.

According to Skytrax, “the survey is based on measuring customer satisfaction for the Passenger Experience, across both Airport and Onboard environments – including check-in to boarding, onboard seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, food, beverages, IFE, staff service and associated travel items.”
